: I am 4 foot eleven and my weight will go up and down between 105lbs>108lbs. It's annoying. I don't know if people were trying to be rude at work, but they said it looked like I gained 5 pounds and I know I didn't. They said they could tell in my face. This pisses me off big time. I do have a round face (I've posted before complaining about it) This round face of mine makes me look like I have a lot more weight on me than I really do when the rest of my body looks good. I figure if I lose 5 lbs it will shrink my face. Does anyone know where the first place weight loss shows up? I was assuming it was your face. Well, that's what i'm hoping. I'm just going to shrink the portions but it stinks cuz I have been so hungry lately. I don't want to give in. I dunno *shrugs* --marianna
What ever you do don't let other people detirmine how you feel about yourself when it comes to your weight. If you feel like you are fine the way you are, than you are. When it comes to changes in your weight 3-5 pounds difference is normal. There are times when my weight can change that much from the beginnig of the day to the end of the day. You eat, you drink, you go to the bathroom, all these things will contribute to what your scale tells you. as far as portion size keeping it smaller is fine as long as you eat more often in the day. By doing so you will never give you metabolism a chance to slow down,so you actually burn more calories in the day.
Just be happy with the way you are and let the other people worry about themselves. Take care
