: It really sounds like to me that you're a "carb addict." Do you find that when you eat something loaded with carbs in the morning, that you seem to be hungrier during the day? And once you get started eating carb-filled foods (like chips or sweets or whatever) that you want more and more? Atkins explains in his book that it's the body's reaction to the carbs, the release of insulin, the rebounding of the blood sugar levels, etc., that sets up this craving.

: So trying Atkins or any of the other low-carb diets might be a good idea for you. Once you get through the initial few days of feeling kind of icky as your body adjusts to the low-carb diet, you might find your cravings are totally gone. I know that I did. :)

: If you haven't read Atkins' book, do check it out. It explains this so much better than I can. The Carbohydrate Addicts Diet by the Hellers is also a good book.

: Susan

I just bought the book after reading all those messages about it. I start to read the first chapter,
I dont know if I can gave up cereal in the morning, but I will give it a try.

Thanks Susan
