: : : : : : : : : worried by saying A type should not eat meat, we should stick to carbs.
: : : : : : : : : If you get anymore information about it, I would be glad to hear about it.

: : : : : : : : : Thanks

: : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : First off, I'm not trting to deter you from the Atkin's diet...try it, and see. If it doesn't work for you, it didn't for me, try the type A diet, it is diffently working for me.

: : : : : : : : Foods that encourage weight gain: Meat, dairy foods, kidney beans, lima beans, too much wheat.

: : : : : : : : Foods that encourage weight loss: Vegetable oils, soy foods, veggies, pineapple.

: : : : : : : : Foods to eat: Chicken, turkey, cornish hen, cod, mackerel, salmon, whitefish, tuna, sea bass, swordfish, soya cheese, soy milk, low-fat mozzarella, low fat ricotta, yogurt, olive oil, peanuts, peanut butter almonds, macadamia nuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds walnuts, black beans, green beans, pinto beans, lentils, snap beans, string beans, green beans, pea pods, uckwheat, barley, cornflakes, oatmeal, ezekiel bread, sprouted wheat breads, rye bread, rye crackers, rice flour pasta, brown rice, artichokes, broccoli, carrots, escarole, garlic, onions, pumpkin, tofu, turnips, avocado, beets, cauliflower, cerely, corn, lettuce, portobello mushrooms, brussel sprouts, all squashes, zucchini, apricots, grapefruit, lemons, pineapple, plums, apples grapes, watermelon, peaches, pears, coffee, green tea, red wine.

: : : : : : : : There are many foods to eat or combine...but most importantly: avoid meat and cheese. WOW! what a contradiction to the Atkin's diet! We are the vegetarian blood type...that's the way it is, and you will look and feel better eating this way. I've lost 7 pounds in three weeks and I feel great!

: : I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast any amount. Lunch is usually cheese wrapped in ham. dinner any type of meat any amount and a veg. You have to check for carbs. Stay under 20 carbs. a day. And lots and lots of water. Sometimes I feel like I am gonna float away but I am determined to get rid of this weight. I still need to lose about 105 lbs. And I will do it. Ray I am on the other web site. I am Donna00 over there. Thanks for the encouragement. I need all the help I can get. I sure hope I can do as good as you and Alan.

: hi....thanks for the tip./...
: but i thought we couldnt eat veges on this diet...
: what veges do u eat and can we cook them in oil? and can we eat salads and fruits!?
: thanks

You can eat vegs. that aren't starchy. I eat Broccoli, green beans etc.. Basically green vegs. No fruits. You can have salad but watch the dressing alot of it has sugar in it. Your best bet is to get Dr. Atkins book and follow it. Keep your carbs under 20 a day. Drink water until you float.
