What form of dairy products? Cheese and cream are acceptable for low carb diets (they are low in carbohydrate and have moderate protein and fat). Milk (whole and 2%) is relatively high in carbohydrate. Just read the labels for the carbohydrate content. If there is more than 5 or 6 grams per serving, then it is best avoided if you are trying to lose fat on a low carb diet. Alan S.
