: Hi Ay--who told you no veggies? The diet book and my doctor went over it says yes to salad, greens, breen beans, pickles--DILL, radishes, NO carrots!. celery is ok, onion and green pepper. Hope you will try a few of these--Makes it less boring. Take care of yourself--Ray

Hi. I'm on it now. I have lost 13 lbs in my two week induction diet. YOU DO NEED THE BOOK. It does allow veggies. My typical meals (daily):


Breakfast: Two eggs, fried or scrambled in plenty of butter. To vary, may mix with cheese, mushrooms, or any veg on allowable list, with half a pack of bacon or five sausage links (must not have any sugar or carbs) CHECK LABLE.

Lunch: Tuna mixed with boiled eggs and onions. May eat cheddar cheese with. NEW YORK AMERICAN SHARP CHEESE HAS NO CARBS IN IT SO YOU CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE!!!!! Might have lunch meat of anykind with a pickle.

Dinner: I have, as much as I want, baked, broiled or charcoal grilled, steak, chicken (with the skin), lamb, pork, (the sky is the limited). On the chicken, I sometimes use TAI Peanut Seasoning (prepackaged) (AWESOME FLAVOR). I have a salad (1 1/2 cup) with salad dressing.

Snack: You've got to try this. Pork Skins with Cheddar or American Sharp cheese shredded over the pork skins, and put in the Microwave to melt cheese over (DON'T USE BROILER, WILL BURN SKINS)
PLUS, about 3 boxes of Sugar Free Jello mixed with Diet Ginger-Ale every day.

IT'S BEEN GREAT AND EASY. NEVER HUNGRY !!!
GOOD LUCK!!!


P.S. YOU CAN USE ALL OF THE BUTTER YOU LIKE, AND MAYO. SOMETIMES I SLICE UP CHICKEN BREAST, OR DARK MEAT, AND SPREAD WITH MAYO, AND HAVE WITH LETTUCE AND A FEW SLICES OF TOMATOE.
