: : : : You only get married once! Girl .eat the wedding cake!
: : : I understand your xcited about the weight loss. But, Marrid!
: : : Have fun. Just in this day.
: : : By the way .. what exactly have you done to lose that weight so quickly? Wh at do you eat? (I need help) Thanks and CONGRADULATIONS on the Wedding!!

: : Hi Girl--Doing great!!!! Your wedding is important and I am facing this problen come Jan. I will eat one big bite for pictures and freeze the rest for some anniversary down the road. The McFlurrie is a no no. I goofed a few times and it sat me back for weeks. The guilt was painful. You also face the honey moon trip. If you quit now the weight will come back fast because you just got it off. Select what you eat carefully. If hubby loves ya he will want you to love you too. Keep talking to the guy about how much you need this for your health. The weight you lose will give ya more healthy years to be with him. Keep us posted! Ray

: I've been on the atkins diet for almost two years. I've lost and kept off over 50 lbs., and I have more energy than I have in my life. I've also been a sweet tooth all my life, and sugar was the hardest to give up. But when it comes to my kids' birthday, etc. I enjoy what I put aside the rest of the year. Atkins is a lifestyle, like working out. When you go on vacation, you take a break, but you get back into your normal routine. Don't use Atkins as a "get skinny quick and go back to the old life" diet. Have fun every once in a while, but remember your habits have changed forever. Have fun!

Thanks for all the advice and support guys! Actually the McFlurry is still sitting in my freezer. Funny thing is, I don't feel it beckoning me at all. There is also a 2 liter of Pepsi in the fridge, and I don't even feel the need for that either. I consider it a huge milestone considering I used to be able to go through a cube of the stuff within 3 days. It is amazing to me how easily I was able to give up carbs. I have so much energy now, and I feel pretty good about myself. I am getting that hour glass shape back that I've missed for about a year, the only problem is now my dress is too big! Need to whip out the 'ol Singer and pins! Anyway, I thing I'll do what Ray suggested and just take the bite for the pictures. I'm making sure the reception has meats and cheeses too for me to eat. Anyway, I couldn't do this without you guys, I can't tell you in words how much I appreciate you. Thank you so much!
