I HAVE APROBLEM KEEPING IN KETOSIS ON THE STRIPS BUT IT HASBEEN THAT WAY SINCE THE BEGINNING AND I LOST WEIGHT THEN. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????
: : THANKS, ANGIE

: Hi Angie,
: i did a low arbs diet for a while, and lost weight until a hit a plateau. It sounds like the same has happened to you. What I need to do was start excercising. Are you? There is only so much your body will lose off of food alone. If you havent started working out yet, try it and keep your low carbs diet habits, you will lose fast! I do Tae Bo, and I love it. Good Luck!

Hi Angie,
You may think this is crazy but it worked for me several times on the Atkins diet. I lost about 60 pounds in 9 months and I hit plateaus several times. The first time it happend I upped my exercise and lowered my carbs more (I have to stick to 20 carbs too or I go out of ketosis). No change for 2 weeks! I even did the fat fast in the book - zero carbs and didn't budge! So, I got frustrated and blew the diet. And would you believe it - the next day I had lost 2 pounds! I thought it was a fluke but the next time I hit a plateau I moderately went off the diet and it worked again. It worked for me each time, though I was much more careful about how much and what I ate. Its almost like my body needed a jolt. Anyway, it worked for me. Just don't let the temptation to keep eating like that make you quit the diet because its really worth the hard work.
