: : : : : : : : : : I was scammed out of $69.99 when I went to order this product. Anyone else get scammed? Does anyone have any contact information that could help me get my money back? please email me

: : : : : : : : : It was Aug. 30th when the Slim product hit my credit card for the first installment of $19.99. When I ordered, I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. Nothing as of today. I tried calling the 800# next to the company name that made the charge to my credit card. It is a recording asking that only faxes be sent in the way of correspondence. The fax number has been busy all day. I am going to continue to try to get through. How are you sure that you were scammed? Do you know of another number I can connect to?
: : : : : : : : : : I ordered this product back in July and did receive it, but also a received a good lesson in buying anything from tv. They charged an extra $69.94 to my account and I've tried to contact them since the last of August. I am still trying to contact them presently-- to no evail! I have also tried the customer phone number, the fax number left on the phone recording, and just yesterday tried the only e-mail address I could locate. I have not heard from them, of course, but would be glad to send out that e-mail address and keep this message board updated with the info I have. The e-mail address is email@example.com . Good luck and please leave word by way of this message board if anyone has any luck.
: : : : : : I looked up the e4l.com site. Nothing of help there. Here is where the fun begins. I have researched the www.e4l.com domain name. Next time you run into something similiar, go to www.networksolutions.com. In the upper right corner click on WHOIS Lookup. In this next screen, type in the URL and it will tell you who owns that domain name. E4L is owned by National Media Corporation, 7822 S. 46th Street Phoenix, AZ 85044. PHONE 602-431-5522. FAX 602-431-5599. I haven't called as it is too early for them to open. I hope this information helps us all.
: : : :: I have tried atleast a dozen times each day and can never get through on the fax machine. I have also tried the fax number for National Media Corp. 602-431-5599 and their business number 602-431-5522 to no evail. I called Phoenix,AZ information to see if they had a listing for either National Media Corportation or the name on my shipping statement which was Quantem North America, but they had no listings for either. I have typed a letter and am sending it tomorrow to both Quantem and National Media and I assume that will get me as far as an email did to e4l-- no where! Anyway, the address for Quantem North America is the same as the address to National Media Corp. I am also sending a letter to the only address I could find in the papers I received with this product. That is Larry North Testimonials c/o e4L 15821 Ventura Blvd. #570 Encino, CA 91436. Please keep me posted on any new info.
: : Try This:
: : Corporate Headquarters 818-461-6400 then dial by name directory and Stephen Lehman is the CEO. I have got his secretary. There is also COO Eric Weiss and Exec VP Anthony Vercillo. Maybe if everyone harasses the head guys enough, we'll see something happen. Let me know if anyone has any luck.
: I have been charged $150.00 by these people. So if anyone can figure something out, I would sure like to hear about. I will NEVER order anything from tv again.
I too was totally scammed. I contacted my credit card company and they were all to familiar with the Slim Down Express "Joke". Contact your card company and they may be able to give you a partial refund. Mine did, but the rest is just a bad lesson. I would think with as many people who have been hit by this company that we have grounds for a class action law suit. At the very LEAST we should be able to stop this group from ever doing this again or continuing to operate.
