I have a question. I have had two abnormal pap smears in the last year and a half. I am due back for a thrid pap smear to see what the doctor is going to do if it comes back abnormal again. The first time it was abnormal he assumed that my IUD was causing the inflammation that was present and that I might have a slight infection from that and put me on antibiotics, right after I had the IUD removed. Six months later I went back for the next pap smear hoping for a normal one, because everything seemed normal. Nope, it wasnt. Last month, I started having pain in the left side of my uterus, a light brown discharge, that sooned turned into heavy dark brown after a couple of days. Seven days of that, then my regular period, then normal again. Well the pain started again. There is no odor, and my doctor cant see me till The 28th. Should I wait, or force him to see me right now. And does anyone have any clue what might be going on?
