: this is my story. i had sex with someone. while in the heat of the moment, my stomach went into all kind of pains like cramps. i didn't know what it was so i told him to stop. 2 weeks later i had my monthly cycle. now a week later, i am bleeding. like little spots. i don't know what this is. i am scared to tell my mom because she thinks and i told her that i am still a virgin. this would be a disgrace to her. can somebody help me?

I know it will be hard for you tell her but if you are having problems you should tell her to get it checked out to make sure you are o.k. If I were I would get a pregnancy test to make sure your not pregnant. It is not uncommon to bleed during pregnancy. So to make sure you are not pregnant. If you really can't get the courage to tell your mom just tell her that you heard that it is a good idea to checked once you start your period and you think that it might be a good idea to go and get it checked. You can go to a planned parenthood and they might be able to help you. When you go in for check up insist on going in alone. Next time you decide to have sex be prepare and have a condom with you or don't have sex. I know it is hard to say no but remember what happen to you the first time and it might be easier. There are lots have disease out beside the risk of getting pregnant. Good luck.
