I am 41 years old and have a bartholin cyst about the size of a golf ball. My doctor suggested that I have the Bartholin gland removed because drains or other procedures usually don't completely fix it. It has never been infected, but it's getting large enough that it bothers my during sex or sitting on hard chairs, or other things too. Can you tell me something about this operation, how long is the recovery, is sex the same afterwards? My doctor said it is also growing inside of me which causes more concern. Please give me some info. on this. Thanks!
