: Hi,
: I've read somewhere that some women have more vaginal discharge than others.

Hi,
Yes, some women DO have more discharge than others. But, here is something that I didn't know until I was in my 20s..... Two weeks before your period, is usually when you ovulate. Ovulation is often accompanied by a thick, mucous-like discharge. Doctors describe it as "egg white consistency". It's a clear (mostly) slippery discharge. It's purpose is to aid sperm for fertilization. So, if you notice a thick discharge once a month, in between periods, that's your body's signal that it is your fertile time. If your sexually active, it can be a great warning sign (although - if you are NOT planning a pregnancy, ALWAYS USE A LATEX CONDOM!!!). If you ARE trying to get pregnant, it can be a helpful sign, this discharge. I conceived two children this way!!! If you are still concerned, keep a "diary" of your discharge. Color, consistency, etc. - so you'll know your body's rhythm..........
