I know there are many who suffer painful monthly periods. When I don't feel like doing anything else, I usually get comfort from the following Bible verse:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him will not die, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
(I have believed in Jesus Christ and I know I will live forever with Him in His kingdom.)
