I recently discovered a lump close to my vagina, probably halfway between the opening and my inner-thigh. It's probably around the size of the tip of a pencil's eraser. I've had some lumps before closer to the actual opening, usually from pad use during my period, but they usually go away after a few days. I haven't had my period for a while...about to get it in a few days, so it's probably not that. I'm thinking it could be an ingrown hair since i've had a bunch after a shaving experiment a couple months ago...i still have another one higher up that I can't seem to get rid of. If it is, how can I get rid of it? On the other hand, I'm scared it could be something else. I've only had one sexual partner, and we were both virgins, so I don't think it's an STD. I'd appreciate any experiences on vaginal lumps/ingrown hairs or any other advice. Should I see a gyn about this? I just had a pap smear about a month and a half ago and it was ok. Thanks.
