: TO Diane,

: you were saying that purpose bar soap can clog pores..but it say right on the box that it won't clog pores coz it oil free...

: they all say that silly, but trust does and it will. its not just purpose..its most if not all bar soaps/cleansers.

: : : I was using the purpose transparent bar up until a few days ago, but because of a decent size break out, I thought it might be nice to change. Now I am unsure of what to think about it. I switched to Clean and Clear oil free daily pore cleanser. It seems pretty gently and doenst seem to dry out my skin as much, but I would like to hear other peoples ideas on the topic of face washes. I usually only wash my face twice at the most daily. Once after showering and shaving and once more at night, but not always. Thanks.

: : : hello joe, i have used so many face washes that i dont remember if i used that one but i'm sure i did. when you get a face wash, never get it in the bar form because they clog pores..thats probably why you broke out. i have been using purpose also, but the the pump..and so far its been my favorite. right now i'm using st.ives swiss formula ultra gentle apricot scrub...recommended by anne..and i really like it..i needed the exfoliation...but you probably dont being that you shave. anyway, i say the best ones out there are the soap free ones like purpose or cetaphil...if the clean and clear has things in it like menthol, peppermint, alcohol..things like that..dont use it. and bars. hoped this helped you. ;)
