The only testing he did was ask a bunch of questions off a checklist, but the questions seemed like anyone could fit the bill.
I fluctuate between good handwriting and being able to pay attention, to really sloppy messy writing and being off in my own world.

: : I am 26 and just diagnosed as ADD. I was never hyperactive as a child. If anything, i was moody and lazy. My doc is convinced I have ADD. What's the difference between the 2?

: ADHD is the inablility to stay on task etc. with the hyperactivity where you can't sit still so to speak. ADD is plain Attention Deficit Disorder where you can't stay on task but have no trouble sitting still. Often people with ADD have poor handwriting aka they have poor small motor coordination. Let me give you the example the school special ed teacher told me about my son that tipped her off to possible ADD. She came into his regular classroom to observe him and some of the others she has in her special help classes. All the while she stood by him he worked right along but as soon as she walked around the room to see what the other kids were doing when she came back to him he hadn't done another thing. Just that quickly he had gotten off task. Has your doctor had you tested for ADD yet? If they haven't then ask for a referral to be testing at your nearest clinic that does ADD testing. Hope this helps explain the difference some.
