: Last year around this time I went to my doctor because I thought I had a cold that wouldn't go away
: but it turned out to be allergies and he prescribed Claratin which worked wonders, now it's spring again
: and the same thing is happening, it feels like a cold except that sometimes during the day I feel fine
: and all symptoms disappear, then all of a sudden I can't stop coughing and my throat is tickly & my
: nose gets stuffy. The weird thing is that it is sooo bad in the morning when I wake up but then it starts
: getting better. Do you think it's dust mites? Also what is bad this time of year? Pollen? I live in
: New Jersey so if anyone can tell me what I might be allergic to I would appreciate it!!

: Thanks!!!!!

Karen it is pollen. I live in PA near the NJ border. I have the same problems and worse. I have had asthma attaches from this. Try sleeping in a propped up position this will help your sinusis. Make sure you are not sleeping on feather pillows. Make sure your doors and windows are closed when someone is cutting the grass this only "kicks" up the pollen into the air more. Begin taking the Claritin in March this will help reduce the symptoms. Dust mites don't help. I strongly recommend you see an allergist. You may even have other allergies you are not aware of yet. If you need more information you can email me [email protected] Good Luck.
