: Hi Elaine-
: I don't think I've seen you post before. Congratulations on your successful fusion surgery. I also just had fusion surgery - on Oct. 5th. Still do have more pain than I expected, but I think it's finally starting to decrease a bit. Mine was done anteriorally. So you are feeling pretty good? That's wonderful to hear - hope you will stick around the board and offer encouragement - this is such a scarey surgery, and there is so much negative stuff out there, that it is great to hear good news.
: God bless your day!

Jill,
Yes I am brand new on this board but I read it daily for a month before my surgery. I watched how quickly you were back online after your surgery so I knew you survived!! I was definitely scared to death but so far I think I made the right decision, just have to pay attention and not do something I shouldn't. My doctor was a ortho spine, I was leary as he has only been out of school and in practice for two years but he had already built up an excellent reputation, no history of infections, fixed a lady to where she could walk after two failed surgeries, this is what I lisened to and blocked the horror stories out of my mind. I would recommend him to anyone and he even works Saturdays, what does that tell you???
Thanks for welcoming me to the board, took my chances that I was posting right?
Elaine
