Dear RO:
You may have pulled a muscle, then again, you may have a disk bulge. What did your doctor tell you? Did you tell you to come back, if the pain didn't go away? Since you have already seen your doctor, why not call and speak with his nurse. Tell the nurse what is going on and ask her if your doctor could suggest an exercise. If you have a disk bulge, you don't want to try to do some exercise that could make it worse. If it is a pulled muscle, which your doctor may know after seeing you whether or not you pulled a muscle, your doctor could give you some stretching exercises. You REALLY don't want to take a chance on making your back worse. That is why I suggest talking to your doctor. Take care, PatG
