Re: exhausted wife

Hi SBelle9,
It has been some time since I've been here, but felt compelled to write. I realize that you may not have a lot of time considering what your responsibility load is right now, but there is help in your area that would give an opportunity to have some time for yourself, or to just go to the store without worry.

I am in a similar situation in taking care of my Mother who just turned 94 years old, and am in Florida, but Missouri should have some of the same types of programs setup, and here are some that may be helpful, or at least a direction for you to try:

I know you may have tried the following, but I'm just trying to give you some possible ideas that can work for you: (a.) Church Members (b.) Veteran's organizations (c.) Family members and/or neighbors (d.) Stroke Support Victim Groups (e.) Contact his Social Worker or Home Health Case Manager

It is never easy caring for a loved one and trying to have some semblance of a normal life, but at some point you can find balance which will make a happier and better situation for both of you.

I will include you and your family in my prayers.
