I quit nearly 2 years ago, but ....

Hi all. I was a smoker for over 30 years. I quit 21 months ago, and hoped that I'd be healthy and happy by now. But sadly, I have gone downhill ever since. Within two weeks after my quit, I developed a gluten intolerance. A month later, my thyroid gland went on strike. Those were things I could deal with... going gluten free and finding an amazing Thyroid specialist.

But three months ago, I developed breathing issues. I've been taking an antihistamine and using an inhaler, but I'm at my wit's end. I've heard stories of detoxing taking a while ... but 2 years? I'm having more tests done next week, but I'm about ready to throw in the towel. (I really have no desire to smoke, but I don't know what else to do to feel better.)

Is there anyone else out there that's had so many health issues after quitting? My best friend and I quit at the same time, and she's the picture of health. But me ..... I'm ready to buy a pack, just so I can feel healthy and happy again.

Am I the only one?
