Hi again,

I neglected to mention some other related items in the same category with cruciferous vegetables. They are avocados, peaches, strawberries and peanuts, peanut butter and possibly peanut oil.

I also should mention that any items that block the absorption of iodine are referred to as goitrogens. It's supposed to be okay to eat cruciferous vegetables as long as they are cooked, but they recommend sticking to the regular suggested serving size. In other words, don't overdo it.
