Question Mucinex Fast-Max DM Max For Acid Reflux Cough?

I have found that Mucinex Fast-Max DM Max is the ONLY thing that helps when I get a "break-through" acid reflux cough. Would it make sense that it can help this type of cough? I don't think it reduces acid, but merely takes away the urge to cough. Whatever it is, it has been a Godsend!

I am meeting with my GI doctor next week to get to the bottom of WHY I have the acid reflux cough in the first place.

If your acid is coming up and irritating the nasal passages and sinuses, it could result in PND contributing to your cough. The Mucinex could certainly help in that case.

Glad you found something that works for you.
