Silent Reflux Throat Issues - Milk, Peanut Butter, Chocolate

I went about 4-5 months (as a teacher) where I could barely use my voice for a couple hours a day without my voice feel extremely hoarse/burn a little/a very strained feeling. I recently cut out dairy a few weeks back and have felt great. In the past few days I have had a brownie and today peanut butter - both which I feel started to make my throat start to burn again - a feeling I haven't really experienced since I cut milk. I can feel the throat start to burn a bit seemingly as the peanut butter smoothie is going down. I'm thinking of going to the doctor again, but they've been nothing short of worthless the few times I have gone.

Does anyone have similar issues? Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? Thank you!
