Laryngopharyngeal Reflux

I have been diagnosed with silent reflux and prescribed omeprazole 40 mg.
I wonder if there is something else I could take. After reading the potential warnings, such as seizures, kidney problems I am reluctant to continue using it. I did some research and melatonin was said to help. I rarely get heartburn but know there will be damage if left untreated. I have the usual lump in the throat, post nasal drip, clearing of throat. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Laryngopharyngeal Reflux

Try reducing dosage to 20 mg.

Best of luck to you.

I've been on PPI's for several years. I really don't want surgery.
