I've had acid reflux for over 25 years. I was put on PPI medications to help control the acid and had no symptoms,

I had 3 endoscopies over the years but the 3rd one showed hundreds
of stomach polyps. I was told I would have to have my stomach removed
for fear the polyps could turn into cancer and there were to many to remove.

After a second opinion by a worldwide GI specialist and a fourth endoscopy they determined my polyps were caused by long time use of PPI medications.

I was taken off PPI medications and 12 months later my polyps not only reduced in size but had mostly disappeared

The past 3 years on I have been on Zantac but my acid reflux is not controlled so I'm thinking of having the TIF procedure. Has anyone had similar issues and or had the TIF procedure?
