Re: Club soda...

Considering club soda would cause lots of gas, I can't see it helping generally. You would be better to use a bit of baking soda in water.

Have you been diagnosed with reflux via upper endoscope?
Have you been checked for H. Pylori?

Re: Club soda ...

Meds dont stop the reflux...they lower the acidity of the stomach acid, through various methods, so it doesn't erode your esophagus or throat.

Your choice could be to make serious food changes if you don't want to be on meds. Or use meds at this point while making other changes. Use baking soda or tums instead of carbonated drinks.

You should, however, eventually have another follow-up scope to see if there is any damage above your stomach. Get checked for H. Pylori.

Aloe vera works better than ANYTHING else and it is all natural. I had horrible acid reflux years ago; the gastro man put me on one pill, which only worked for a few months. I went back to him to tell him as such and with that, he told me to double the dose. Came home; did research; found aloe vera; started taking and three prescription med out!!!
