Re: Coughing After Eating
Recently following a "bout" with an unknown excruciating "virus", lasting well over two months (symptoms: profound mucus.. out of nowhere sinus condition, blowing nose constantly to try to get rid of mucus..... feeling so tired couple of days just laid in bed all day (back in March)... ended up with laryngitis.... examination of throat showed excessive mucus; put on Protonix for about 8wks and took aloe vera juice, honey, licorice extract and begain eating lots of yogurt. At first, no coughing.... laryngitis cleared up.....sometime in May, chronic coughing began no matter what I ate.. even yogurt.... especially in a.m. mucus profound; can feel it during night trickle down into throat/chest so by the time morning comes, I am filled to capacity.. spend early a.m. coughing/choking... last wk saw a Gastro MD
who will do endoscopy end of this month... think antibotics I was on in April really messed me up big time (from a regular MD). I'd suggest you see a specialist very soon. I've lost over 20 lbs since April because afraid to eat most things.... scrambled eggs work ok; so does peaches, pears, chicken with fresh veggies, fish.... have to experiment; take honey frequently. Really don't think doctors have a clue; that's why they send you for myriad of tests.
I won't know anything for at least a month... again, see a gastroentrologist.
