Which is more effective, liquid or chewable tablets?

What type of stomach medication or supplement would be more effective?

I am going to find out if Acidophilus helps my stomach condition. I have the choice to take liquid or chewable tablets.

    Hi

I find that the liquid helps me more than the tablets. I take Maalox but unfortunately when my reflux is really bad the only thing that helps it eating and drinking nothing.

I have more of the LPR type reflux and my Dr. says to take liquid to coat my vocal cords. Mylanta will help immediately when I have bad choking fit but hate to take it so often due to it causing the D. He had first said after every meal and bedtime. This was before I went on to every PPI known to man. I find that plain old Alka Seltzer will help me often for temp relief.
