Burning Pain Under Sternum And Palps After Eating

I woke up last night to an intense burning stomach, chest, shoulders and even face. This scared me into a panic attack. I'm used to getting
a severe burning under the sternum with in a half hour of eating along with
heart palps, but last night it seemed my whole body was burning. I'm mostly
sure this was Acid Reflux because it went away after about two hour after
taking zantac 150. Can anyone help my confidence that this burning sensation
just before falling a sleep is Acid Reflux and not heart related. Comments
    would be helpful, Thanks.

You really and truely need to see a doctor.

I don't think anyone can comment on whether or not this is related to any one thing..... Not to mention - your medical history and current medical condition (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc).

If you continue to have chest pains and you're extremely worried about it - take a trip to the emergency room. Anytime there is *chest pain* involved, they'll take all sorts of tests (EKG, bloodwork, blood pressure, heart rate, lung xray, etc etc). You'll know whether or not this is heart related.

Or should I say...the ER in my area did all those tests. I had chest pains for atleast 2 weeks before I decided I'd better try to make an appointment with my doctor. My doctor recommended I go straight to the ER - and I did.
