Does anyone have Non-Acidic Relux?
I am wondering if anyone that is not responding to any of the PPI's or H2 blockers that might have non-acidic reflux / alkaline reflux / bile reflux. Are there any treatments or more information on this? I have a slight burning sensation in my stomach and usually in the evenings experience a bright red raw throat. None of the PPi's or H2 have worked for me. Pepcid AC helps a little but does not resolve my issue.

I have non acid reflux when upright. I have tried different kinds of acid reflux meds but none of those helped.

Me too! It never bothers me when I am lying down. What are you doing to help it? Have you ever tried amphojel "Aluminum Hydroxide" or even activated charcoal tablets? I have tried Questran "Cholestramine" but my GI said he would rather me not take it because of the side effects. Apparently what we need is something that will bind to the bile and exit it from our stomach. Let me know. :)

I didn't try those.

In my opinion, for my case, it really just comes down to the LES not working properly, plus my reflux being non acidic, the traditional acid reflux meds won't help. So I'm pursuing the surgery option.
