    acid reflux after taking antibiotics

    Hi all

I never had acid reflux but got it twice within a week once over the summer for urinary tract infection after taking the antibiotic cipro, and the second time was over the Christmas after taking clarithromycin another antibiotic for the flu which I should have never been given because you don't treat a flu with antibiotics.

Anyone with a similar story please feel free to post

    Hi,

You need to take a good Probiotic for a few weeks.
Antibiotics are typical for killing of your good as well as your bad bacteria and need replacing.
Clarithromycin caused me all manner of nasty's with my stomach and I would never take them again.
You could also try "Aloe Vera Juice" which is good for the digestion,

    Solofelix.
