    back.

I have had nausea on and off since October, feel like foods stuck, acid/food coming back up if i bend, intolerance to alcohol (up all night being sick if i drink), a constant feeling of something in my right side of my back, feeling like i can't get a breath etc. My gp suspected acid reflux and prescribed me pantropazole and gaviscon and referred me for an endoscopy. Some symptoms have reduced but the back pain never goes away. Can this be gerd or does it sound more like an ulcer or hernia?

    Re: back.

    Hi Zipster,
Your symptoms could be related to all three conditions.
Having had an Ulcer and H.Pylori myself and having a Hiatal-Hernia and IBS all your symptoms are what I experience at any given time.
In the beginning like you I didn't know what I had until I had an Endoscopy which first showed I had an Ulcer and H-H and later IBS.
Initially it was the Endoscopy that revealed H.Pylori and I was suffering every one of your symptoms so I have a feeling that H.Pylori might be your problem but I'm no Dr and just making a guess going by your symptoms.
The Endoscopy will reveal your problem.
I was prescribed Nexium but didn't find it helped me,

    Solofelix.

Thanks solefix, hopefully the endoscopy will reveal something.
