SOLUTION for those that have money to spend....

Nothing ever worked for me (but i've never tried accutane) except blue and red light treatments. There's a new one that's just been fda approved called the SkinStation. It's 75 dollars per session. At first you go twice a week for 4 weeks..and then once a month, then once every two months or as needed. It's helped me when nothing else did.

Another machine I've tried was a PhotoDerm (photorejuvination). It works for acne too. With this one it's 250 dollars per session but you just go once per month.

My derm said to do the skinStation once every two weeks and then the DiamondTome machine they have, once every two weeks. The DiamondTome is also brand new, also 75 dollars every time, and works like microdermabrasion but without redness and irriation. It's really good. It's supposed to help red marks and light scarring.

None of this is covered by insurance unfortunately. Just thought i'd share and maybe help someone.
