Are you using bar soap? If so, quit immediately. I finally figured out that that is what was breaking me out. Soap has tallow in it, (animal fat) and that will break you out and irritate your skin.

I'd stop using soap all together (except on the feet, and underarms and privates!) If your in Canada, use Spectroderm and if in the US, try Cetiphil. They are not soap and can be used to clean face, body etc.

oh, I think your in the UK, hmmm, see whats available, or try to get one of those products online. they are inexpensive so worth it, i think?!

I used to use soap for my face and body but now I think it was the worst idea ever. Now I use a special acne liquid like Neutrogena or Clean and Clear.

My sister who has beautiful skin convinced me to use only soap for 2 weeks. At first I thought it was great. Then the backlash came. My face turned red and scaly, and broke out like you wouldn't believe. It took me forever to get it straightened out. However, I have heard good things about using an oatmeal bar - if you really must use soap. Otherwise, look for a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil or Purpose. Good luck.

I use the store brand version of Neutrogena face wash. I don't know if it's helping, but it probably isn't hurting. It burned a little at first, but now it's fine.

If you want to use a complexion bar, try Burt's Bees Lettuce Complexion Bar and the Wild Lettuce Toner. They are almost 100% natural! I used to break out a lot! I tried everything! Finally, when I tried this, it worked! Just a thought! Good Luck!
