    Renova and waxing?

I have been using Renova for about 2 months now. I just went to an appointment with a facialist to have my eyebrows waxed and she made me fill out a questionnaire that asked if I used any Retin-A product. I truthfully answered that I used Renova and she told me she couldn't wax me because Renova "thins the skin". I told her I didn't use it in my eyebrow area and she said it didn't matter, that it gets in my bloodstream and thins my skin all over.

My dermatologist told me that this is untrue. However, I do know that many doctors get their information only from the drug companies, who often minimize dangers in order to sell more medication.

Does anyone have accurate, non-reactive information that can help me?
