As for a whole meal plan you should just try to make one out of these foods. One thing you have to keep in mind is that if you do eat some sort of sugar (even natural sugar from fruit), you should also eat some sort of protein (meat, nuts, beans) with it so that you keep your sugar level down. If you have just sugar is will raise your sugar level, which causes acne. Also if you have to have chocolate, dark chocolate is much better than plain. If you have any other questions just ask.

Why are peas bad for you?

I eat frozen peas and sometimes fresh ones out of the pod. Why are they bad?

Thats a good list but I do dissagree with rice, obviously everything cannot be included so use common sense, ie, I can't think of a fruit/vegetable that isn't good for you. I have no problems with brown rice at all.

+Can't see why mango is bad either, or peas especially since kidney beans are on the "good" list. Note :- for strick paleo diet no legumes are allowed, something to do with the 'evil' protein and sugar mix that passes through the gut and fools the immune system into attacking its own cells.

Milk chocolate has a LOT of sugar and milk solids whereas dark has mainly cocoa and its the SUGAR that may cause acne NOT the cocoa.

The other day I bought a 100% chocolate bar just to see what it tasted like and it really made me see just how much sugar they add to make a chocolate bar.

If you eat a little of the 85% cocoa variety its actually GOOD for you because it is high in anti oxidants (and i think iron or magnesium)

Well, they can be. They can cause blood-sugar spikes. eat the actual fruits instead

Not bad, but too much of anything is bad and its easy to overconsume when you're drinking something.

Pomegranite juice is suposed to be the BEST for your skin as its so high in antioxidants (higher than green tea or any other juice)

They're the size of sesame seeds (a little bigger maybe) but flat and dark brown and contain an amazingly high level of omega 3.

I consume mine in the form of a mix of cold pressed oils such as flax, borage and evening primrose with omegas 3, 6, & 9 (Called 'The Total EFA' brand: Health From the Sun)

I also use ground flax seeds to add to my oatmeal - you can also bake with it.

It is also very high in fiber. just a 1/4 cup is half your daily fibre requirement.

Re: What foods don't cause acne??

Yea dark chocolate has more pure chocolate and less sugar, that’s why it’s better. All chocolate is not the best, but if you’re addicted to chocolate, eating dark chocolate is much better for you.

As for peas, they’re on the bad list because they are high in sugar. Same reason bananas are on there.

As for fruit juices, unless they’re pure, they’re not good for you.

And I don't think that any rice is good for you.

Re: What foods don't cause acne??

I'm sorry, but I think this post is nonsense. I have read over and over and over again, plus heard from 2 different derms that food does NOT cause acne. This is an "old wive's tale" and very outdated information.

A pimple takes from 5 to 7 weeks from formation to come to the surface, so how can something you eat for dinner one night cause a breakout the next day?

Common sense and basic sound nutrition guidelines should guide you in your eating...not this crap.
