Hi Primo1,
I am female, but I still think I can answer your question. Early this year it became really popular for women to get hairstyles with long bangs. I went to my hairstylist and showed her the picture of the "new look" and asked if it would work with my facial features. She said I could definitely pull it off. So I had her cut some long bangs and layer the rest of my hair. It looked great!
But within a week I started to get stubborn acne on my forehead and on my temples. I have never gotten acne in these areas! I always had acne on my cheeks. I thought that maybe it was because of the styling products I was using so I stopped using them. But I was still breaking out. So I tried an experiment. I wore my bangs tucked back behind headbands, scarves, etc. After two weeks, I noticed that I was not developing any new acne and the blemishes I had were healing. So I wore my bangs off my forehead while I waited for them to grow out. My theory is that the hair on the forehead could pose irritation for some people and it causes them it breakout on their foreheads.
