Question really oily skin, need help!

Hi, I'm a fourteen year old femawl who had very oily skin. I've been told it's becuase I'm biracial (1/2 white and 1/2 black) but even so it's tough to deal with. I'm also very active, I am in track and volleyball right now and am always in a sport, year round. My question for you is how do I control my acne when every thing I've tried (stridex, pro something) haven't worked on my face, chest and back? Please If you have any amazing products or any useful tips let me know, please. Thanks.

Try black soap and shea butter.

Re: really oily skin, need help!

I have oily skin on my face too. It is very difficult to treat the problem becuase if you wash your face too often it can make things worse. If you dry your skin out too much, then you can get more oil as a natural reaction to rehydrate the skin.

I have found that it is really easy to blot the oil up with oil absorbing pads that you can buy at the store. Or just regular tissue paper does a good job too. When you press it against your skin you will be able to see how much oil the pads absorb.

I wish I knew a way to stop the oil from developing at all, but I have not found an answer. But the good part about this "treatment" is that it won't damage or irritate you skin, and it looks a lot better after you do it.
