Exclamation Claim: Milk can cause acne.

    Quote:
Milk can cause acne, researchers in the US have claimed, and said it may be because milk contains hormones and bioactive molecules.
They found that women who drank two or more servings of skimmed milk ever day were 44 per cent more likely to have developed severe acne.
Women in the survey who drank more than three daily servings of any type of milk were 22 per cent more likely to have suffered from acne.
The study, reported in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, surveyed 47,335 women.
The researchers concluded: "We found a positive association with acne for intake of total milk and skim milk.
"We hypothesise that the association with milk may be because of the presence of hormones and bioactive molecules in milk."
I drink a lot of semi-skimmed milk, and it would be great to think that i could reduce them just by cutting down.

Im going to give it a try, if any one wants any more info, just search it in Gooogle. I spoted this in the dail mail yesterday.

    Cheers.

The link between milk and acne has been discussed here many times before in the past. You just have to try it out for yourself and see if there's a difference or not.

I switched to soy and lactose free milk. My acne has improved a lot over the last few months, and i think this helped a bit. Because melted cheese caused cystic acne breakouts for me. But ive also been doing other things. Mainly, i stopped popping pimples..guaranteed to see huge improvement after a month or 2 doing this. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Nope, I was dairy free for 2 years and my face did not change one bit. Maybe it would for you, but don't get your hopes up.
