I like it better than jojoba oil. It's a bit more moisturizing, feels more luxurious on the skin and makes my face more glowy. I used to have some small fine lines around my eyes and they were gone after using the camellia oil. My acne scar pits are improving a lot.

    Hey Waterlily!

How long have you been using the camellia oil? And how long did it take for the lines under your eyes to go away? Did it initially break you out?

    Re: Silkia Camellia Oil

I've been using it for over 8 months. The small fine lines under my eyes went away in less than 2 months (twice a day use everyday). Maybe because I still keep using it 2x everyday, I haven't developed any lines under my eyes any more. It took longer to see results for my pits. No initial breakout at all.

I heard many good things about this too but it broke me out pretty bad. I finally had to stop using it on my face and just use it in my body lotion.

I have been looking to buy this product, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get it? (I live in Canada, btw)

Can I use camellia oil in combination with my existing regimen for acne. By the way, I use Solvere acne kit and I've been breakout free for almost a year but I have many slightly pitted scars on my temples and under my cheekbones. thanks.

Yep it took me 6 months to see a difference also. Now after a year my pitting is almost totally gone, so it's worth the wait.

El-Santito, you can use the oil in combination with any other products.

I'm just curious to see if you were using any other products or medications when you were using camellia oil that could've caused the breakouts (or experiencing abnormal stress). You seem to be one of the few who may have had a bad reaction to this product. Do you have oily or dry skin? What type of acne did you have before and while on Camellia Oil? And how is your acne now?

    Thanks!!

Thank you Waterlily for your reply. Can you give me advise on when to apply it? Before or after my acne kit regimen?

What is in your acne kit regimen? I use it every morning and night, after the cleanser and toner. I don't use any other moisturizer. Basically you just use it as a moisturizer and if you want to use a cream or lotion as welll, put the cream or lotion over the oil.

    hey waterlily,

I was just wondering how bad your pitts were when you started using the oil? I have been using the epidermx and the camilla oil for about 2 months now and today I am having a really bad face day...I feel so down and like my face is never gonna get better (the pitts that is). I have some very minor and some moderate scars...one or two icepick ones...what type of scar did you have and how bad were they?

    Thank you!!!
    ~hopeful~

    Re: Silkia Camellia Oil

I didn't see any noticeable difference until about 6 months. If you read the posts above, Cassie4U22 also said it took her about 6 months to see a difference. So I think it could be the same for you, that you probably may not see any big changes until about 6 months.

The pits on my forehead were quite deep, about 2mm. I had 5 of them there. I also had 3 immediately above my upper lip (from picking and squeezing out blackheads). I'm not sure if they were icepicks. They were not exactly very sharp, but deep and wide.

All the pits on my forehead are almost completely filled in already. You don't notice them unless you come very close. Those immediately above my upper lip have improved in appearance a lot (much smoother), but not filled in as much as those on the forehead.

So I recommend you stick with it. It takes time but it will work out in the end. Cheer up.
