Race/Gender and acne

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or stats on which races and genders are more predisposed towards having acne. From my experiences and observations I would have to think that caucasian males are the most common to suffer this kind of skin condition.

I don't know but that is an interesting topic. I have seen all races with acne. The place where I get my nails done is all Vietnamese women and about 6 out of 10 of them in there have acne. I always thought asian women never had acne. I have also seen alot of African Americans with acne but I think you are probably right about the Caucasian males being the majority.

Nah I disagree, in my opinion Asian males are the most common acne sufferers on a per capita basis, followed by Asian girls followed by caucasian males followed by caucasion females followed by African males followed by African females.

Re: Race/Gender and acne

I am African-American female, used to suffer with acne. While mine was never severe, I use this prescribed foam soap on my face. It works like wonder and my face looks almost flawless. The only time I have bumps on my face is when it's signals an upcoming menstrual cycle. And they go away without any leaving any scars (that is you don't touch them.)
