minocyclean (sp?)

My son 16 used this initially almost a year ago. His face cleared up and had red marks only. Derm then gave him Triaz pads to use along with the topical cream Tazarac. That cleared all red marks and his skin was gorgeous. He went about a week or two without the pads and now he has broken out again. He is taking the oral meds again and using tazarac cream. It seems to be taking forever for him to get rid of them this time. He is down to just red marks again and I told him to use the pads but he is reluctant thinking it will get worse. I know I'll probably end up calling the derm because he doesn't trust anything I tell him. How long can you take the oral antibiotics without it causing other problems? anyone have experience using these three things?

He uses cetaphil soap to wash. When we first started using cetaphil (about a year ago) we used antibacterial. then i got the regular a few months ago and that is also about the time that he broke out again. Could it be that he needs to use the antibacterial soap all the time?

If you open the door even a little bit - the devil will fling it open. Keep it closed with prayer.
