    Antibiotic or anti-androgen?

I have quite bad acne on my shoulders. I want to clear it up as it is summer again now and i am fed up with not being able to wear summery, strappy tops that expose my shoulders like all other girls do. I've been thinking about seeing a dermatologist and going on a course of anti-biotics to clear it up as i had acne on my face as a teenager and antibiotics cleared that up for me. But i also have PCOS and hirsutism and high male hormone levels so i was wondering maybe it would be better to be on anti-androgen medication? I am a bit confused as to which i should be on and which would work better in my case - antibiotics or anti-androgen medication? Or would either work? If i take an anti-androgen one would it reduce my sex-drive or leave me with no sex-drive? i'm not quite sure which medicine i should get myself onto or whether i should see a dermatologist or an endocrinologist?

I'm not an expert and I learned most of what I know here and recently, but I'd choose the antiandrogens especially since you have been diagnosed with hormone problems.

Antibiotics never did anything for me and they probably have given us all candida imbalances. And I so wish in all those years and all those dermatologists, one of them might have noticed my hirsutism and realized that was the problem.

The same thing happened to me.
I got really bad acne on my shoulders.
I would recommend Doxycycline or Accutaine.
Those are the 2 best products for acne on your body.
You got to get them prescribed by a derm.
I took Doxycycline and it cleared me of my body acne.
You might get some redmarks when the acne goes down.
I would use an AHA lotion to help clear the redmarks.
The Alpha Hydrox enhanced lotion is very good.
It has 10% AHA in it.
    Also, if you take Doxycycline.
Dont take it on an empty stomach.
