scars & accutane

hey ...i just finished a course of accutane and i was wondering if accutane helps with scarring...i have some red marks, which is not bad...but i have little dents or pock marks which really bother me...does accutane help those as well? i hear that the months after accutane your skin gets better....is that true? or...is there anything i can use for the pock marks? or is it too soon after accutane?

You can have the pits filled with a cosmetic filler, but you'll need to keep it up to keep your results.

My derm told me to wait one year after my cycle of Accutane to consider any treatments for scarring. She said my skin would do a lot of healing on its own. Now, a year later, I have scarring. If anyone knows of anything over the counter to use, please post it. I can't afford a plastic surgeon. It's not as bad as I'm making it sound, but it bothers me. I know there are a lot of microdermabrasion kits available. Has anyone tried them? Thanks.
