Post Symmetry in breakouts?

Hey Guys.

Call me crazy but this is something that I have came to realize over the past few years. Now this doesn't happen ALL the time to me but enough to be noticeable (obviously).

I've noticed that when I breakout sometimes, I breakout on the same spot on both sids of my face. Say if I get a postule along my jawline... around the same time if not THE same time I'll have another one on the same exact spot on the other side of my jawline, like a mirror image. This has happened to me too many times to be just a coincidence if you ask me.

Now if this is in fact true, it would leave me to believe that something I'm doing could actually be causing this... such as how I sleep. But I dismissed this possibility for I shower daily and change my pillow cases frequently. So THATS out the window... but I'm left with nada.

It's nothing too important but I just think its a freak thing, anyone else think so? Anyone else have it happen to them? I hope so, heh.

Yes! Ironically, I came to the same conclusion yesterday. Not only the same placement, but also it seems they're the same KIND of breakout (cyst/cyst, whitehead/whitehead). I have no explanation, but I'd love one if someone has the answer.

I guess I'm the only one here with asymmetrical acne. The right side of my face is always worse then the left. Also I've never gotten a zit one place, and had anohter one show up on the exact same place on the other side.

Same here guitarplayer. My right is always worse than my left. I was thinking about this the other day and decided to try not using fabric softner or dryer sheets on my bedding just to see if that makes a difference. It's only been a week, so I'll give you an update in a few weeks.

One more vote for the mirror effect. I used to think my face was coded to perform as a duet with my nose as the orchestrator in the middle.
