    Question Dove or Cetaphil?
    My derm recommended to me Dove sensitive skin wash or Cetaphil. Which one is better in your opinions? And which one washes makeup off really well? Does anyone know?

    i used to use cetaphil and it's very gentle and inexpensive... can be used with or without water... BUT an even BETTER one is Aquanil... it's hard to find... I buy mine at Long's Drug Store... but if you ask someone at a drug store (RiteAid, Savon), they'll usually order it in... runs about $10-11 for a 16 oz bottle... GREAT cleanser for after masks... cleans but is very very gentle... no smells or weird colors

    Do you find that the Cetaphil takes off makeup well, especially eye makeup?

    I would go with the Cetaphil Jagdm because its really gentle and non pore clogging..It also works great to take makeup off...I have always had problems with Dove...My favorite is a gel cleanser called Spectro Gel but apparently its only available in Canada...Hope this helps...

    yes... Cetaphil will take off most make-up... things like water-proof mascara are a lil more difficult... try The Body Shop's gentle chamomile eye makeup remover... awesome stuff

    i don't like cetaphil cleanser. it left stuff on my face. i use purpose (or j&j's head to toe baby wash--it's the same thing) and it works amazingly. when i went to the dr's to get my smoothbeam done yesterday, they gave me dove soap to wash my face with.

    Dove isnt too bad.. I tried Cetaphil for 4 months and it left nothing but blkheads on my cheek.. There were some ppl on the board that had similar problems.

    You can try mixing cetaphil w/ baking soda to lightly exfloiate ur skin.

    Do you think it is safe to lightly exfoliate while your on Retin-A micro?
