    Post Differin vs. Azelac

Just wondering what your opinion is on these two medications....I know Differin is derived from vitamin A (like Retin-A, but gentler)..I used Retin-A for years and years (I think 10yrs) and it was ok but there was always the annoying peeling and redness. Differin was great for a while but now the acne is back..My only concern is long term..how much damage do these drugs do long term? I mean, I feel like I have to be on these for the rest of my life (and I'm 30) so won't liver and kidneys take a beating down the road? Is Azelac safer long term?

Any insight anyone, please let me know
    Thanks so much

pea, how long did differin work for you? I'm on it right now and have been for about a month and it seems to be working pretty well.
