can a cyst just go away on it's own???

I was wondering if a cyst will go away without surfacing??? For example, I have a small bump and was wondering if it will go away without turning into a big red infected bump on the surface. I have minor cystic acne and this is the first time I have a small bump under my forhead that hasn't surfaced yet. I'm on mino and vitamins a,c,e,zinc. Since the vitamins my cysts have gotten much smaller. Will the bump go away?? And can the mino make the bump go away??

I have the same problem as you. The cystic bumps we have are a product of our bodies immune to the minocycline, I have noticed some become smaller and eventually vanish. It takes time and unfortunatly for these ones, a lot of time.

Yes it can and mino will help with that.I'm also on antibiotics (amoxicillin) and it really helps with the cysts.I had two big bump two weeks ago and they disappeared the next day.I'm glad i didn't squeeze them.
[This message has been edited by ~Cansu~ (edited 05-19-2001).]

I've been on mino for 4 months now at 1mg a day. Do you think the mino might not be working???
