    Waxing the face

Ive asked this before but received no responses...if you wax your face (girls) could that help a little bit to 'let more room' for your pores to clean themeslves, and NOT clog? Just always wondered if removing the hair (not eyebrows lol) would somehow allow more room for the pores.

    Re: Waxing the face

I'm not a female, but I would think that if you waxed your facial hair that it would be more iritating to your skin than shaving would, granted you won't be waxing as often as someone shave's.

!!! I found this from another message board.

    Someone asks,
    >"Has anyone waxed their facial hair? Does it help or does it grow back
    >worse? I am thinking about having my chin waxed? I can not stand it? I
    >am plucking it all the time and that makes the area grose and sore

    And someone else replied,
"Waxing is pretty much the same as plucking, it is still ripping the hair out by the roots. Your skin can become irritated from both, and if things aren't kept really clean those little pores are easily infected, and it looks like acne breakout. Plucking, waxing and electrolysis for that matter stimulate the area with increased blood flow, so the hairs will grow more quickly. I have never had laser treatments so I cannot comment on that, but I have been getting electrolysis for over a year and it has made a huge difference, and it is the only "permanent" form of hair removal. Once a follicle is completely "zapped" it cannot regrow a hair, but we have so many millions of follicles on our bodies that unless we take care of the underlying hormonal cause of the hairgrowth, we are winning the battle but losing the war so to speak. Good Luck with whatever you choose! "

Now, I know this question is set for the purposes of hair removal and not towards acne, but I thought it might help.

    Re: Waxing the face

from experience, I am telling you that waxing the face is bad... I tried it, and a couple of days laer, my whole face erupted with acne...I wouldn't reccomend...A skin specialist told me that the best form of hair removal is laser hair removal....After 2 sessions, results can be permanent...All the best...
